Important Car Rider Information

·     Car Riders should be dropped off in the back of the school each morning. Students should NOT be dropped off in the front!

·     Students eating breakfast must be at school in time to be finished with breakfast and in their classroom by the time the tardy bell rings. They are considered tardy if they do not get to the classroom by 8:00 a.m.

·     Any student dropped off before 7:30 a.m. in the morning should be enrolled in the Extended Morning Program. The cost for that program is $2.00 per day + the $12.00 registration fee.

·     Students dropped off after the tardy bell rings (8:00 a.m.) should come in through the front doors and must be signed in by an adult at the front office.

·     In order for car rider dismissal to flow better and move more quickly in the afternoon please help us out by putting your child's name on a piece of poster board and place it in the front so that we can see it as you are coming up the drive. *If you could attach it to your visor it would make it very easy for us to see and then you can keep it there and just flip it down each day when you are picking up. Please keep the name visible until your child is in the car. Please make sure that anyone who picks your child up has a sign. It really slows things down when we don't know who to call for a car. Our outside help in the afternoon changes from day to day and everyone does not recognize the cars. Also, please pull up as far as you can in the line. The more cars we can load, the faster you will get through the line.

·     If you are in the car rider line (morning or afternoon) please wait patiently for the line to move. Pulling out of the line and going around other cars is very dangerous to our children. Please do NOT pass other cars while you are in the line!

·     Please do not talk on your cell phone while you are moving through the line.

The safety of all our children is of the utmost importance to us!!!!
